Social Seniors "Health and Wellness" - Posture Clinic In-Person

Many of our activities in modern life, especially those on computers and phones, leave us slumped forward with our heads drooping down. This chronic pattern of movement leads to certain muscles being too tight while others are too weak. This can be true even for those of us who are no longer spending 8 hours a day working at a desk.

Join yoga instructor Laura Knott, RYT-500, for an engaging discussion about how we can break this habitual pattern. We will connect to the sensation in our bodies while we practice strengthening and stretching movements in and out of a chair. These exercise, combined with mindful body awareness, can help us lift and elevate out of our current "slump".
