Social Seniors: "Health and Wellness" - Functional Fitness In-Person
If you would like to maintain the strength and mobility to continue your regular activities, and even your infrequent tasks, "functional fitness" is for you! Functional fitness is about exercising the muscle groups that we need to do everyday activities.
Yoga instructor Laura Knott, RYT-500, will talk about the basic movements of the joints in the body, and offer chair based exercises to strengthen and mobilize these areas for more ease. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
