Global Warming - A Crisis Like No Other

Global Warming - A Crisis Like No Other In-Person / Online

What is global warming and how do we defeat it? Bob De Saro will cover both topics including how global warming occurs from the generation of greenhouse gases and how that affects our planet's energy balance. Next, solving our climate crisis requires we undertake three activities:  the technologies we need to deploy;  the decisions we must make in choosing our leaders and sidestepping the influencers that have fossil-energy hidden agendas; it's all about us; the personal actions we need to take.  This talk is based on Bob De Saro's new book, which is to be published in early 2023.

Energy is the key to understanding global warming and Mr. De Saro is an energy expert. He has spent over 30 years working in various energy fields with 52 publications, four patents, and three technical book chapters related to energy. He is pres. and founder of Energy Research Company where he conducts research on laser applications for measuring material chemistry and energy use, processing spent nuclear fuel, the efficient use of biofuels, and more.  He has engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Univ. of Michigan.
