Planning Pathways is series of four informational webinars for families supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).  Join us this February for two webinars focusing on key aspects future planning to help families prepare for the futures of their loved ones. Planning Pathways is presented in partnership with The Arc of Hunterdon County. 

Webinar# 1: Person-Centered LifePlanning: Securing the Future for People with Disabilities

Presented by Melanie Miquel, Director of Social Services, PLAN|NJ and Nicola Nero, Assistant Director of Social Services, PLAN|NJ 

This session will address future planning issues such as independent living supports; estate planning, legal and financial protections. Topics include how to implement a future life plan for people with disabilities, Guardianship and Alternatives to Guardianship, Special Needs Trusts, and ABLE accounts.  Handouts will be provided to families to highlight the topics of the session.
