Intro to 3D Scanning In-Person
Come learn about our EinScan Pro 3D scanner. The Einscan Pro 3D scanner creates a detailed 3D digital model of real-world objects by using light projection and capturing reflections to measure their shape. Bring in an object you would like to scan. Keep in mind there are surfaces that work better for scanning and we may need to spray or tape the object to scan it. We can use sprays that are nondestructive to the object if needed.
The following types of objects/surfaces need to be treated with something to make the surface reflect light properly so the scanner can capture it.
- Transparent / Translucent Objects
- Highly Reflective / Shiny Surfaces
- Very Dark / Black Surfaces
These objects can't be scanned
- Tiny or Very Thin Features
- Large, Featureless Surfaces
