Caregiver Support Group - Coping with Caregiver stress and Holiday Blues

Caregiver Support Group - Coping with Caregiver stress and Holiday Blues In-Person

This is an unmoderated group for families, partners, and other caregivers who want a safe place to discuss the stresses, challenges, and rewards of providing care for adults with disorders such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer’s, stroke, brain injury, and other chronic debilitating health conditions.

This month, Chris Kellogg, from NightingaleNJ Eldercare Navigators, will discuss "Beating the Holiday Blues."  The holiday season can bring warmth and connection-but it can also stir feelings of guilt, loneliness, and stress, especially after a loss, major life change, or while caring for others.  Whether you're navigating shifting family roles of the demands of being a caregiver, it's important to recognize the emotional toll and take steps to protect your well- being.  Join us for a thoughtful and supportive conversation about managing grief, preventing caregiver burnout, and learning simple, effective strategies to comfort, connection, and resilience during the holidays.
