Mardi Gras Music Celebration with Joe Grillo In-Person
Join Joe Grillo (lead singer of the NJ swamp-funk band Gumbo Gumbas) for a solo tribute to New Orleans. A veteran multi-instrumentalist, Joe will perform a mix of NOLA classics and original music on saxophone, washboard, and vocals. Traditional king cake will also be served in celebration of the Mardi Gras season!
Singer and saxophonist Joe Grillo has been leading bands and working as a side man professionally for decades. He is currently the lead singer and composer for the Gumbo Gumbas, a popular New Jersey Pop Zydeco/ swamp funk ensemble. Joe leads the band, co-writes the music, edits the videos, and is the main driving force behind this Trenton based group.
