Ikebana: the Art of Japanese Flower Arranging In-Person
Celebrate the natural beauty of autumn with the timeless art of Ikebana. Join licensed instructor Brandon Forsht as he introduces the Sogetsu School of Ikebana's modern approach to floral design — a practice that marries contemplation with the hands-on mastery of materials. Brandon will create several unique designs, and afterward, he will answer questions and share the stories and inspirations behind each piece.
Brandon M. Forsht is a licensed instructor of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana with over a decade of experience. His work has been displayed at Longwood Gardens and the Philadelphia Flower Show. Brandon holds a master's degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University.
