Grave Blanket Decorating In-Person

Celebrate the life of a lost loved one by decorating a grave blanket, made with real evergreens, in their honor. These evergreen remembrances will be built by our presenter, Rebecca, beforehand and after a quick explanation of how she creates them, participants will choose different decorative pieces to add to their grave blanket to personalize it for your loved one. Each registrant will leave with a decorated grave blanket which can be placed at your loved one's final resting place throughout the winter. Unlike flowers, it will stay green even in dreary winter weather. Registrants are welcome to bring a family member or friend to assist in decorating. Assistant decorators do not need to be registered.

All supplies will be provided, but we suggest bringing garbage bags or a tarp to lay down in your car while you transport your grave blanket from the library. The blankets are created from evergreens and will shed needles.
