Family Maker Time: Ceramics for Adult & Child (9+) In-Person
Join us for a fun and creative ceramics class designed for children/teens and their adult caregivers! Use molds, texture tools, and underglaze to hand-build a unique ceramic piece together. This program is generously sponsored by FOHCL, Friends of the Hunterdon County Library.
This class is perfect for adults who want to enjoy quality time with a child, teen or grandchild exploring the art of ceramics. Adults are welcome to create their own piece as well.
Important:
-
An adult must remain with their child(ren) throughout the class.
-
Please register each person who will be making a ceramic piece.
This project takes time to dry, bisque, glaze, and glaze fire. Expect an email around 3 weeks after class letting you know your pieces are ready for pickup.
All supplies are provided but feel free to bring in your own ceramic tools and items for adding texture if you would like. Plant clippings from your yard can make beautiful impressions in clay for example.
One last thing...please arrive on time. If there are waitlisted people who come, no-show seats will be opened to waitlisted registrants (in order of registration) at 2:40.
