Honey Bees and Bee Keeping (with observation hive) In-Person
Learn to tell the differences between honey bees and other stinging insects, the three bee castes and their "jobs", and much more. Our speaker, also a Cornell Master Beekeeper, takes you “inside the hive” to answer all your honey bee questions. A secured observation hive will be on site for patrons to observe the inner workings of a honey bee hive.
This family program is brought to the library in collaboration with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Hunterdon County.
