Intermediate 3D printing - CAD modeling with Onshape In-Person
Learn the basics of Onshape by designing a self-watering planter. We will go over some commonly used functions in 3D modeling including: creating a dimensioned sketch, extruding, revolving, and filleting. Computers will be provided, but each attendee needs to have an email available to login to Onshape. We will go over slicing the finished 3D model, and it will be printed after class.
Ages 12+
Prerequisite : Some experience with 3D printing, such as Tinkercad is highly recommended before taking this class.
Please bring an email address that can be authenticated to on your own device or our computer (in which case you will need the email password) or register for an Onshape account (it's free) before coming into class at https://www.onshape.com/en/products/free to save time during class.
