Family Maker Time : Intro to Arduino, Electronics & Robotics In-Person
This is a family maker four session workshop that will explore the exciting world of electronics for ages 10-14 and their adult. We will start with the basics of electronics working with a breadboard (not the kind in your kitchen!), buttons, resistors and LEDs and by the end of the week each family registered will be building a robot!
Registration :
- Registering signs you up for all four sessions.
- Please only register if you can attend all four sessions. An adult is required to be with the registered child(ren) ages 10-14.
- One kit per adult attending
- All attendees must have a valid Hunterdon County Library card
Dates and Topics:
- July 14th, 6:30-8:30: Basic electronic design (breadboard, LEDs, buttons, resistors, etc.)
- July 15th, 6:30-8:30 Intro to Arduino (Raspberry Pi Pico, Arduino c programming, flashing LEDs, moving servos)
- July 16th 6:30-8:30 Robotics (Build and program basic robot based on Pi Pico)
- July 17th 6:30-8:30 Robotics (programming in Python)
