History of the High Iron Railroad Co. (talk and 30-docu. film) In-Person
Join author Hank Webber as he explains the history of the High Iron Company, leader of more than 80 steam locomotive excursions in the Northeast from 1966-1973. This talk will educate the audience about engines such as the NKP 759, Horseshoe Curve, and more. The first 30 minutes involve his speaking of the memories of the years of running high speed steam locomotives. The last 30 minutes is a full color documentary film of the greatest nationwide steam excursion ever executed in 1976.
