Native Groundcovers (Native Plant Soc.) In-Person

Plug into native groundcovers with John Courtney, owner of Kind Earth Growers.  Learn the benefits of using native groundcovers in the garden bed, alternatives to some of the more traditional groundcovers and how to properly manage them for visual and ecological impact. We will also get "plugged in:" on how to utilize landscape plugs for a more economical solution to covering a lot of square footage.

The Native Plant Soc. of NJ holds their monthly meetings with a guest speaker are open to all! NPS is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation, protection, and study of the native flora of New Jersey. Founded in 1985, their members include gardeners, horticulturists, naturalists, landscape designers, students, and native plant enthusiasts from all walks of life.  Talks are open to all!
