Intro to: Direct To Garment Printing - Learn How to Design and Print a T-Shirt! In-Person
Learn how easy it is to put your design on a cotton t-shirt using the Epson F2100 Direct to Garment (DTG) printer! Taking this class and completing the badging quiz will allow you to reserve the DTG printer during Makerspace Open Hours.
The 2- hour class will cover:
- Using Canva to design a PNG file
- Importing the file to Garment Creator, the software for the Epson F2100
- How to determine if a shirt needs pre-treatment
- How to use the Silver-Jet pre-treatment machine
- The workflow for preparing a t-shirt for printing including pre-treatment, software design placement and heat press prep
- Safety guidelines for using the heat press
- A badging quiz to reserve the DTG printer during Open Hours.
The library has a limited supply of t-shirts for use, we recommend bringing your own 100% cotton t-shirt in your size and color preference.
