About the Artist

I'm Lara Gupta, an ardent admirer of art. Originally from Ukraine, I spent 30 remarkable years there before embarking on a new chapter in the USA. My artistic journey began at a two-year art school in Ukraine, where I delved deeply into pencil drawing and watercolor techniques. Art wasn't just a pursuit; it became my haven for reflection amidst the hustle of life.

The year 2018 marked a significant return to my artistic fervor. Immersing myself in Helen Lee Meyers' studio, I dedicated time to refining my oil techniques. Yet, my heart always gravitated toward watercolors. I sought to reignite that passion, diving into online classes led by renowned watercolor artists such as Angela Fehr, Natalya Nestereva, Katarzyna Kmiecik, and Scott Swinson, among others.

Art, while not my full-time occupation, remains a constant and cherished pursuit in my life. Presently, I'm an active member of ArtventureNJ, showcasing my work in their art shows. My artistic journey continues to evolve, a narrative painted with enthusiasm, dedication, and an enduring love for the captivating world of art. Currently, I'm fervently exploring the intricate world of secret geometry and the artistry of mandalas.
