Mixed Media Miniatures with ArtVenture In-Person
Explore painting techniques & materials, collage, and found materials
From artist trading cards (ATC’s) to what the NYT calls “the next big thing”—miniatures are hot! We’ll explore small scale mixed media by combining different materials and techniques, and understand what substrates and adhesives work best, and how to manage design and composition. Students will create a series of small works that can be displayed on mini easels and even given as gifts! Small-scale & low risk—this class will be fun and educational.
