Spinning Hexigram Kaleidocycle In-Person
Remember the kaleidoscopes we all had when we were kids? This twisty little paper project operates by some of the same principles. Made of a circular “chain” of pyramids, the kaleidocycle can be turned in on itself over and over again to produce cool optical effects. Also called flextangles, these mesmerizing fidgets are as fun to make as they are to play with. We will also make a triskele globe using almost the same technique. Choose from several patterns, and take home a template to create your own ever-changing design. Registration mandatory.
