Chess Club In-Person
For children in grades 2 through 6.
Join high school student Pranav Shankar for chess instruction at the North County Branch Library. Pranav has been playing competitive chess for six years and is considered an Expert, with a peak rating of 2050. He represented the United States in the International Chess Federation Chess Olympiad for People With Disabilities in 2021.
Participants should have basic knowledge of how to play chess, including how to move the pieces on the chessboard.
Attendance at each weekly session is recommended, but not required. Registration is required for each session.
