Intro to: Boss Laser - Laser Cut Jack-o-lantern Keychain In-Person
Participants completing this class and quiz will be certified to use the Boss laser cutter during Makerspace Open Hours. The class will make their own custom jack-o-lantern design by creating an SVG file in Inkscape. Then, they'll learn how to set up the file properly in the Lightburn Software for the Boss laser. We'll review all the steps for establishing the correct settings in the laser, material safety and starting the air compressor, water pump and fume collector. After the pumpkin pieces are cut, the class will assemble their keychain.
Participants will leave with a custom jack-o-lantern keychain they have designed and cut on the laser!
