Join us at the Headquarters Library for a magical Story Time with the Sugar Plum Fairy! This enchanting event will transport children into the whimsical world of "The Nutcracker" through dance, storytelling, and interactive activities. Our program features a live performance, a captivating reading of the classic tale, and a fun dance class led by the Sugar Plum Fairy. The Sugar Plum Fairy will perform her enchanting variation and read the story of "The Nutcracker," a tale that describe the magical evening at the Stahlbaum house, a thrilling battle with the Rat King, and the wondrous journey to the Land of Snow and the Land of Sweets. The Sugar Plum Fairy will then lead everyone through a dance class where she will guide the participants through various dance steps, including walks, marches, bourrè, and balancès.
