Intro to: Boss Laser - Cut and Engraved Custom Jewelry

Intro to: Boss Laser - Cut and Engraved Custom Jewelry In-Person

Participants completing this class and quiz will be certified to use the Boss laser cutter during Makerspace Open Hours. The class will make their own custom earring/necklace design by creating an SVG file in Inkscape. Then, they'll learn how to set up the file properly in the Lightburn Software for the Boss laser. We'll review all the steps for establishing the correct setting in the laser, material safety and starting the air compressor, water pump and fume collector. After the jewelry pieces are cut, the class will assemble their jewelry.

Participants will leave with a custom jewelry piece they have designed and engraved on the laser!
