TEEN Knitwits & Crochet Crew In-Person
Students in Grades 6 & up are invited to join the library's Teen Knitwits and Crochet Crew groups! New to knitting or crochet? No problem! One on one instruction and materials will be provided.
No registration required.
This summer we will collaborate on a "Welcome Blanket". Teens are encouraged to knit or crochet a 10 inch square for the blanket and share a story about immigration that is important to their family. When complete, our blanket will be displayed at the library and in an online exhibit before being donated to a new American family. Volunteer credit will be given for donated squares.
